Costpoint Payroll Specialist (Hybrid)

Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced CostPoint Payroll Specialist to join our team. This role involves processing and managing payroll using CostPoint software to ensure timely and accurate payments to employees. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of payroll operations, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Experience with UKG (Ultimate Kronos Group) solutions is highly desirable and will be considered a valuable bonus. This is a 3 month contract to hire and is remote two days per week.
\n Responsibilities:Manage end-to-end payroll processing in CostPoint, ensuring accuracy and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.Maintain employee payroll records, including new hire setup, terminations, deductions, and benefits.Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to verify payroll data and resolve discrepancies.Prepare and review payroll reports, including tax filings, garnishments, and benefit deductions.Reconcile payroll accounts and provide supporting documentation for audits.Ensure compliance with labor laws and payroll tax regulations.Troubleshoot and resolve payroll system issues, escalating as necessary to technical support.Stay updated on industry trends, payroll software updates, and regulatory changes.Assist with the integration of UKG systems and CostPoint, if applicable.Provide exceptional customer service to employees regarding payroll inquiries.
