DESCRIPTION OF WORK
In this position, you will be responsible for assuring quality fiscal integrity and professional direction in the fiscal accounting and computer operations of our administration.
This work is essential for supporting agencies and programs that provide behavioral health services to our community.
You will oversee the accounting structure and cash flow within the organization for assigned programs and assist the accountant and senior fiscal professionals in overall accounting and cash management.
Other duties include, conducting fiscal and administrative audits in the maintenance of ledgers and related assignments, and routinely reviewing and evaluating accounting operations for provider agencies.
You will also assist in the development and management of annual service contracts with providers, as well as coordinate with other department heads regarding FCBHA's computer operations and programs.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment Work hours are 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: Two years as a Fiscal Technician and six college credits in accounting; or Five years of bookkeeping experience and six college credits in accounting; or Three years of accounting and/or budgetary experience and a business related associate's degree that includes six college credits in accounting; or One year of accounting and/or budgetary experience and a business-related bachelor's degree that includes six college credits in accounting; or An equivalent combination of experience and training that includes or is supplemented by six college credits in accounting.
Other Requirements: You must meet the PA residency requirement.

Hiring preference for this vacancy may be given to candidates who live within Allegheny, Fayette, Greene, Somerset, Washington, or Westmoreland counties.
