Our client, a telecom company in NYC, is looking for a Creative Resource Manager for a hybrid temp-to-perm contract.
The position will help to oversee the workflow and resource allocation within the Creative Department and will play a key role in optimizing talent deployment to ensure the right creative resources are assigned to the appropriate projects, driving productivity and quality in output.
This position requires a deep understanding of creative talent, efficient workflow management, and the ability to estimate hours for both in-scope and out-of-scope work.
With experience in creative operations, the Creative Resource Manager will collaborate closely with department leads, project managers, and creative teams to ensure smooth delivery of projects, balancing workloads, and adjusting resources as needed to meet deadlines and client expectations.
This is a hybrid temp-to-perm position and requires 3-days/week onsite in Downtown Manhattan.
Responsibilities: Manage and allocate creative resources across multiple projects to ensure effective workflow and high-quality output.Monitor team capacity and individual workloads to balance assignments and avoid resource bottlenecks.Collaborate with creative leads and project managers to define scope, estimate hours, and allocate resources accordingly.Develop and implement strategies to optimize the use of creative resources, improving efficiency and productivity.Track project progress, making real-time adjustments to resource assignments to meet deadlines.Provide visibility into creative team availability, skill sets, and ongoing projects for optimal resource planning.Coordinate freelance or external resources when necessary to support the creative workload.Identify and resolve resource-related issues, ensuring that projects remain on track.Maintain open communication with creative and account teams to manage expectations and ensure alignment on resource planning.Report on resource utilization, capacity, and project timelines to leadership for continuous improvement. Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in creative resource management, traffic management, or creative operations.Strong understanding of creative processes, roles, and skill sets.Excellent organizational and time-management skills with a strong attention to detail.Ability to forecast resource needs and plan allocations based on project scope and timelines.Experience with project management tools (e.g., Workfront, Monday.com, Asana) and resource allocation software.Proven experience estimating hours and managing out-of-scope requests.Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally with creative and non-creative teams.Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
