Ct Technician

Job Summary: We are seeking a CT Technician to join our team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a wide variety of technical procedures requiring independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative in the utilization of equipment for the diagnosis and/or treatment of diseases.

Core Responsibilities and Essential Functions: Setting up equipment to provide imaging service and positioning patients for procedures.
Obtaining complete clinical history, gathering examination data, and assessing for contraindicating conditions.
Ensuring patient's privacy and comfort is accommodated and maintaining patients' dignity throughout the exam/procedure.
Participating in the orientation and training of departmental employees.
Consistently producing acceptable images and ensuring that equipment is fully operational prior to each use.
Required Minimum Education: Graduate of AMA approved School of Radiology Technology.

Required Minimum License(s) and Certification(s): ARRT Radiography ARRT Computed Tomography Basic Life Support or BLS - Instructor Required Minimum Experience: Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology.
Required andLess than 1 year experience in CT Preferred
Required Minimum Skills: Must exhibit excellent communication skills because this position requires frequent verbal and written communications with: physicians, patients, visitors, departmental staff, and nursing staff.
The candidate must be able to explain or give directions to maintain goodwill, and obtain cooperation with all contacts.
Must possess the ability to function independently and under pressure while still actively participating in a team environment.
