Position Overview The Project Manager develops, manages, supports, and implements initiatives for various aspects of the Customer Operation organization. This role develops and implements processes and new initiatives through planning, coordination, communication, and execution of project scope. The role partners with various centers of excellence to provide a horizontally aligned, finished product that supports the goals and vision of the organization.
Responsibilities Actively manages day-to-day aspects of enterprise projects, ensuring each is delivered on time and within scope, while clearly communicating risks and dependencies to leadership teams.Participates in Project Kickoff Meetings to understand and add value to project 'scopes of work' and ensure responsibilities and tasks are being managed.Proactively discerns risks and sets expectations with stakeholders on prioritization and timing.Acts and represents the Customer Operations organization to other organizations within the Company including senior leadership.Clearly communicates trade-offs and presents potential solutions or contingencies in a collaborative way when the project scope is adjusted.Prepares and maintains project reports and provides timely updates for weekly meetings, escalates any intermediary issues immediately, and is proactive in determining solutions.Liaison for sales and customer care teams with IT Intakes and prioritization.Assists with the strategic project development of new campaigns and upcoming initiatives.Works closely with client groups to ensure goals and objectives are met as well as ensuring they stay engaged during the duration of the project.Competencies Accountability – holding self and others accountable to meet commitments.Manages Ambiguity – Operating effectively, even when things are not certain, or the way forward is not clear.Customer Focus – Building strong customer relationships and delivering customer-centric solutions.Decision Quality – Making good and timely decisions that keep the organization moving forward.Drives Engagement – Creating a climate where people are motivated to do their best to help the organization achieve its objectives.Education and Experience Requirements Bachelor's degree or an equal level of prior work experience preferred.3-5 years of experience in a Project Management role.PMP project management certification desired.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Extremely detailed oriented and organized.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills.Ability to manage multiple, concurrent projects simultaneously.Strong problem analysis skills and contingency planning– ability to dissect complex problems into manageable components.Ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team to achieve a common goal.Proficient in MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.Experience with workflow management software such as Smartsheet, Workfront, Basecamp, Trello, SharePoint, etc.Working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 or Salesforce (or similar CRM tool) is preferred.Physical Demands & Working Conditions The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This range is based on the qualifications necessary for the position, including experience, training, and other considerations permitted by law. Factors that may be used when making an offer may include a candidate's skills, experience, and geographic location, the expected quality and quantity of work, and internal pay alignment, as needed. Most candidates will start in the bottom half of the pay range. The upper end of the range will generally be reserved for candidates with extensive experience. An employee's pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law. In addition to monetary compensation, we offer benefits, including Medical/Dental/Vision insurance and Company-matching 401(k) in addition to other programs and perks.
