Provide supplementary strategic direction to a network of 25+ professionals, helping clients transform and align their cybersecurity and risk management functions to business needs in order to drive strategic decisions and investments. Lead client delivery and execution with a growing team of Cyber Assessors, Cyber Strategists, Threat and Risk Modelers, and Risk Management professionals.Work with clients across a variety of industry verticals, including energy, financial services, health and pharmaceuticals, high-tech, manufacturing, and oil and gas.Lead project teams to refine and apply Booz Allen's cyber assessment capabilities and solutions to address each client's strategic, operational, and regulatory assessment needs. Apply expertise to lead the identification and assessment of programmatic gaps, technical vulnerabilities, and risks to client systems and environments using qualitative and quantitative approaches, such as cyber risk quantification (CRQ), FAIR, and MITRE ATT&CK, and design risk-aligned mitigation solutions.Ensure that all deliverables are of the highest quality, and that tasks are executed in accordance with established schedules and budgets. Work with Account Managers and Capability and Market leaders to build relationships with clients and identify future opportunities for capture at strategic clients, such as Fortune 500 and Global 1000. Contribute to or lead work capture activities, including facilitating sales meetings, responding to Request for Proposals (RFPs), constructing bespoke project approaches, authoring proposals and Statements of Work (SOW), and designing pricing and staffing approaches. Mentor, lead, and grow a team to deliver outstanding work while partnering with our other delivery teams, including advanced analytics, cloud , OT, Security Testing, such as Red and Purple Team, and Incident Response , to design, build, and deliver integrated solutions to the market. Guide staff and embody a servant leadership mindset to prioritize their growth, well-being, and empowerment while also holding those under your management accountable for delivering client outcomes and business results.Establish trust and confidence in workforce by establishing quality standards, delegating responsibility, diplomatically navigating conflict, and fostering a culture that fosters accountability and high-quality results.
Basic Qualifications:
10+ years of experience leading enterprise consulting engagements with Fortune 500 and Global 1000 clients with a focus on delivering results to C-level executives, such as CIO, CTO, or CISO, and Director-level stakeholders, such as Security Director or GRC Director, including identifying root cause issues and recommending threat and risk-aligned mitigations that extend beyond basic control gaps to uplift our client's cyber resilience and withstand cyber threats and risks
8+ years of experience executing cybersecurity assessments against industry-standard frameworks, such as NIST CSF, NIST 800-53, and ISO 27001
Experience in strategic advisory client-facing roles and leading delivery teams, managing client expectations, briefing executive stakeholders, such as C-suites and Board of Directors, leading projects from inception through completion, and leading cross-functional engagement teams comprising of 2-7 staff members in consulting or customer service delivery roles
Knowledge of technology and cybersecurity functions, such as asset management, identity and access management, cloud security, network security, security operations, or incident response, and technologies, such as SIEM , EDR, IPS/IDS, SAST, DAST, CASB/DLP, CSPM, or CWPP
Knowledge of cyber threat modeling and risk management frameworks and methodologies, such as FAIR, NIST RMF, COBIT, MITRE ATT&CK, PASTA, or STRIDE
Ability to showcase strong project management expertise and deliver results within specified timelines and budgets
Ability to identify root cause issues, analyze vulnerabilities, and propose risk-based mitigations that materially enhance organizational security risk posture
Ability to identify technology vulnerabilities using both manual and automated processes, including automated compliance and vulnerability scanners and system configuration reviews, such as CIS Benchmarks or STIGS
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or Liberal Arts
CISSP, CGRC, CEH, GSEC, OSCP, CISM, CISA, COBIT 5, or FAIR Certification
Additional Qualifications:
10+ years of experience working at a large Technology or Management Consulting Firm
5+ years of experience advising client's Cyber Risk Management, Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM), Supply Chain Risk Management (SCRM), Technology Risk Management (TRM), or GRC Programs
Experience with application security, product security, DevOps, DevSecOps , and SDLC
Experience with cloud assessment methodologies, including utilizing built-in processes for assessing native cloud services, and optimizing cloud infrastructure for efficiency, security, and cost-effectiveness
Experience administering and assessing network devices and security, including routers, switches, firewalls, and intrusion detection and prevention systems
Knowledge of SOC and threat hunting
Knowledge of emerging topics, including regulations, industry practices, and new technologies, such as AI, Cyber Risk Quantification (CRQ), and Zero-Trust Architecture (ZTA)
Possession of strong verbal and written communication skills, including explaining complex technical ideas to diverse audiences and executives, such Board members, CEOs, CFOs, CTOs, and CISOs, and communicating effectively across all organizational levels via white papers, assessment reports, presentations, and briefs
Possession of strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, including analyzing complex issues, identifying root cause, and framing results to strategic audiences, such as business executives and technology leaders
CRISC, MITRE ATT&CK, Certified Incident Handler (GCHI), or GIAC Enterprise Incident Response (GEIR)
