The Quality Control Associate at the Distribution Center location is responsible for auditing warehoused items coming into the receiving department, pallet lots/processed pallets in the shipping department, and general DC inventory accuracy.

2nd Shift hours are Mon-Thurs 2:30pm-1:00am with additional hours on Friday/Saturday as needed.

Pay Range: $18.00-$20.00 Depending on experience
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIESAudit procedures and inventory as necessary to ensure accuracy and development of staff.Audit random selection of totes, packages, transfers, and pallets in the sorter production area and/or the receiving production area.Auditing of warehouse inventoried items processed in the receiving department.Identify and correct issues from the manual induction at sorter.Identifying discrepancies from staff and vendors and correcting to ensure accuracy.Responsible for ensuring accurate allocation of quantities.Reporting and record of discrepancies to management team.Cross check quantities to packing slip, making corrections as necessary.Load merchandise onto proper pallet, shrink wrap when necessary.Troubleshooting issues and identifying causes of issues while working with management to identify issue areas.Recommend and implement new procedures and policies affecting overall accuracy, tracking, and employee development.Forklift use and training on equipment.General maintenance of building and equipment. Ensure housekeeping is up to standards.Practice safety in the workplace by using and ensuring others are using safe work habits and following all safety procedures.Assist in employee training and development for both new staff and current staff.Key holder responsibilities - ensuring building is opened and closed properly.Oversee the above functions in the absence of the Receiving Lead and Supervisor.Any and all other duties as assigned by Lead, Supervisor, and Manager.QualificationsSkillsBehaviorsRequiredDetail OrientedDetail Oriented: Capable of carrying out a given task with all details necessary to get the task done well.
