Data Analyst

The Republican National Committee is looking for a Data Analyst to join the organization in Washington, D.C. The position will be in the Digital Department working within the Digital Data team. The Data Analyst will collaborate closely with other members of the team to analyze and parse through incoming data, enabling other teams and providing actionable insights that drive key marketing decisions.

Successful candidates will be responsible for:Working closely with other team members and stakeholders to understand their analytical needs including identifying and measuring KPIs and providing actionable insightsAnalyzing data to find answers to questions from stakeholders with a keen eye for what will drive top-level marketing performance Creating and maintaining reporting dashboards that pull marketing data from a variety of sources, making the information easily digestible to the broader Digital TeamPerforming frequent quality assurance checks on all data pipelines to ensure consistent accuracy of all infrastructure associated with RNC Digital Data Qualifications:Thrives in a fast-paced environment with aggressive deadlines while maintaining attention to detail1-3 years of experience working with digital dataProficiency in Tableau, Datorama and other BI toolsTechnical writing experience in relevant areas, including queries, reports, and presentationsStrong SQL and excel skills with a desire to learn other analytical toolsWorking knowledge of various ESPsPython, HTML, Java and CSS skills are not required but a plusBackground in politics, fundraising, or advocacy preferred but not required
