Data Governance Manager Responsibilities of Data Governance Manager: Manage and mentor a team of database administrators and data engineers. Provide guidance, set goals and assist team members develop their skills Oversee database design, installation, configuration, backup and recovery. Develop and implement data management strategies Qualifications of Data Governance Manager: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT or related (an advanced degree would be highly preferred)7+ years of experience working with data 3+ years in a leadership role managing 10 or more data members Proficiency with SQL Server Strong understanding of data modeling, data analysis, data management Salary for Data Governance Manager : $120,000 - 130,000 depending on experience
