We are seeking a Data Lead for our growing Data Management practice. In this role, you will be responsible for delivery excellence for large-scale data management projects, for growing the data management body of work via presales support for the Concord Sales team, and for growing the data management team through people and technical leadership. We expect our leaders to be skilled practitioners who are willing to jump in when needed.
What you will be doing Provide oversight to key client work, ensuring project strategies and methodologies are sound, ensuring appropriate consultant teams are assigned and enabled to deliver excellence, and aligning both client and internal teams to a shared high-value vision.Deeply involved in executing client engagements, including leading assessments and developing strategies to create roadmaps for strategic projects. Responsible for guiding a large team of consultants and engineers and owning the implementation phases of data modernization.Focus on continuous learning and keeping yourself up to date with market trends and emerging technologies.Partner with Sales executives to strategize new business opportunities, provide subject matter expertise throughout the sales cycle (exploratory calls through pitch presentations), and collaborate on pitch material development.Lead people, both as a manager and as a manager of managers, and provide mentorship across the organization when needed in support of career pathing and skills development.Develop scopes of work, including resource plans, effort estimates, timelines, and budgets in support of new project opportunities.Build relationships with senior client contacts and prospects.Collaborate with other Data Management leaders on go-to-market messaging for the practice. Develop and maintain offerings, case studies, POVs, and Blog articles.Drive strategic initiatives on behalf of the Data & Analytics business unit in support of elevating our work, elevating our people, and elevating our market positioning.Engage with the community to represent Concord at user group events and conferences. Involve in designing and conducting workshops and implementing creative strategies to enhance the Concord brand.What we are looking for 10+ years in the Data & Analytics space, preferably with consulting experience.Solid understanding of modern data architecture patterns and how they support analytics use cases.Experience with architecting and implementation of cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, AWS and Azure.Experience with Data Governance frameworks, Data Modeling and Data Engineering.Strong communication skills, verbal and written, and enjoys talking shop with others. Comfortable with both technically oriented and business-oriented audiences.Ability to orchestrate complex projects, spotting dependencies, risks, and opportunities, so that both people and workstreams come together seamlessly in support of broader goals.Ability to problem-solve in a dynamic, changing environment. Ability to think on your feet in consultative conversations.Ability to prioritize and manage multiple competing responsibilities while delivering quality outcomes.Track record of proactive, value-added contributions to internal and client teams.Passion for people development and building high-performing teams.A love for data, and sound belief in its possibilities.Additional information Employment type: Long-term full-time role.Location: Prefer candidates located in Minneapolis or Kansas City. Occasionally visiting the offices at Minneapolis or Kansas City might be required.Requirements: must be authorized to work legally in the US without sponsorship, now or in the future.Consideration will be given to qualified candidates with varying levels of experience, with compensation commensurate with experience.
