Data Solutions Architect

Responsibilities
Oversee project teams and deliverables ensuring the highest quality of service
Build cloud architecture structures within client design
Lead stand ups to delegate workload to appropriate team member
Anticipate business needs moving desired state into data models supporting long-term solutions using SQL and non-SQL databases on cloud based platforms
Create and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models along with corresponding metadata using best practices to ensure high data quality and data access
Own and resolve data governance, data quality and protection issues
Evaluate implemented data systems for variances, discrepancies, and efficiency, and identify areas of improvement in current systems
Play a key role in the process of data transformation required for effective reporting, analytics, and visualization
Requirements
Degree in Computer Science or related field
10 or more years of experience in SQL databases, Azure, and cloud architecture
5 or more years working in a data architect role including modeling
Strong understanding of and experience with data management concepts, data governance, and data security
Strong experience with Azure cloud technologies and cloud data engineering tools and services
Experience within a consulting environment
Knowledge of machine learning practices and AI trends within data space
Compensation
$175,000 to $220,000, depending on experience
10% bonus that can increase with tenure
