JOB OVERVIEW Play an integral part in assisting with our database entry and database management needs relating to biological inventories within our Ecological Database Management System (EDMS). Job responsibilities involve data maintenance and annual updates to the inventory tables of electronic data, responding to data requests, and assisting in future development and enhancement efforts. This position will support both the Hunting and Farm Program's MS Access Databases and existing Ecological MS Access Database(s) as well as ensure established relationships between the databases and other source systems are up to date.
What are we looking for? Someone with interest and knowledge in the Midwest ecological systems including flora and fauna. Looking for someone with an associate degree in computer science , Information Management, or a related field and three (3) years of information systems experience in MS Access Databases is preferred. However, note, an equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be substituted for a degree. Furthermore, preferably, knowledge in ESRI software including ArcGIS PRO, ArcGIS Online, and other ESRI apps; however, we are willing to train use of this software on the job.
