Debt Resolutions Manager

The Debt Resolutions Manager is responsible for managing delinquent loan accounts, collecting overdue payments, and handling the recovery or disposal of repossessed assets. This position involves overseeing the daily activities of a team, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations, and providing support in improving collection processes.
\n Requirements:3 to 5 years of related experience.Need Managerial ExperienceA two-year college degree or equivalent specialized certification/training.Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to handle confidential matters with tact and diplomacy.Proficiency with computers, including keyboarding and calculator skills.Ability to lift or pull up to 25 pounds and willingness to travel occasionally.Symitar experience would be great but not required Duties:Train, motivate, and guide staff to deliver efficient and effective collection and loan support services.Contact delinquent accounts and take appropriate actions to bring them current, using knowledge of guidelines and collection techniques.Analyze delinquent borrowers' financial situations, making recommendations for charge-offs, repossessions, or legal actions.Monitor and manage relationships with collection agencies, including decisions on when accounts should be referred for litigation.Report trends in delinquent loans and recommend policy and procedure updates.Maintain accurate records of all collection activities, handle bankruptcies, and respond to disputes.Testify at legal proceedings when necessary and coordinate repossessions or the sale of recovered assets.
