Requirements:
Candidate will have over 2 years of derivatives experience within a financial institution or law firm (experience will be current or very recent); Proven track record representing commercial and investment banks across various derivatives transactions for hedge funds, private equity funds, and registered investment companies; Keen experience working on highly structured, bespoke transactions; Proficient in managing client relationships and independently progressing transactions.
Stellar academic credentials (Law Review and/or Moot Court accolades); Strong drafting, research, and verbal & written communication skills required; NY Bar.
Day to Day Responsibilities:
Representing a diverse clientele on a wide range of derivatives transactions for hedge funds, private equity funds and registered investment companies.
Working on highly structured, bespoke transactions.
Effectively managing client relationships.
Independently driving transactions forward.
