Design Digital Specialist

Studio 2000X is looking for 1 head to fulfill the position of Digital Specialist. 
In this role, the specialist will provide digital support services to Ford's Global Design Organization with a focus on their Color & Materials team.  Support services will include specialized digital mentoring, training, and support to build the Color & Material team's competencies, assist with process improvement, and accelerate implementation of technologies specific to C&M functions.
As Design Digital Specialist you will:
Assist Color & Materials leadership team in implementing and improving the program delivery capabilities of their team through strategic planning, research, development, implementation, training, and ongoing improvements including, but not limited to:
Color calibration.
Scanning and verification of physical to digital materials and appearances.
Improving digital configuration workflows and designer's competencies. 
Resolve network and remote issues.
Escalate outages and trends via Ford's IT ticketing system.
Track & perform USB unlock requests, data recovery, quarantine protocols, and all other Ford-specific IT/Design tasks.
Track Color & Materials leadership objectives and needs.
Manage projects and track via Miro boards.
Coordinate efforts between teams and resources.
Report out to leadership on plans, progress, challenges, and successes.
Set manageable objectives and goals.
Develop connections with key stakeholders and build collaborative partnerships.
Support Design program requests, when needed.
Digital configurations.
Visualization stills & animations.
Data coordination and management.
Project management.

Basic Qualifications:
VRED and other visualization software applications.
Viz I/O and Mat I/O experience.
Current with latest color and materials technologies (hardware & software) with a focus on color/material accuracy and ease of implementation.
Understanding of digital color and its relation to physical color.
Material creation ranging from scanning to digital replication.
Color calibration of monitors and future tech.
Familiar with AI (Artificial Intelligence), MR (Mixed Reality: VR/AR), HDRI, GEAR, TAC7, Twin Motion, Adobe CC, Substance, Teamcenter, X-rite technologies.
Strategic planning.
Training and mentoring skills.

This position is a range of salary grades 7-8.
