Description The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has a continuing requirement for Homeland Enterprise Information Technology Secure Services & Support (HEITS) for the continual operations and maintenance and evolution of the Homeland Secure Data Network (HSDN) and the Classified Local Area Network (C-LAN).Leidos is seeking a candidate to provide Tier 1 and 2 support for multiple domains with users locally and remotely, with excellent communication skills and the ability to support VIP and VVIP customers.
Additional responsibilities include imaging, installing, and configuring workstations and troubleshooting Windows 10 and above and Microsoft Office suite.
Candidate should be interested in learning new technology and providing support to the user community.Primary responsibilities will include:• Communicating and interfacing with customers and Leidos Site Lead on issues and daily tasking.• Providing Tier 1 and 2 support for multiple domains with users locally and remotely.• Troubleshooting workstation, printers, and other peripheral devices.• Imaging, installing, and configuring workstations.• Troubleshooting Windows 10 and above, as well as Microsoft Office suite.• Learning new technology and providing support to the user community as well as issuing and maintaining Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) tokens.• Working with automated Help Desk tools such as Microsoft System Center, Remedy, and ServiceNow.• Troubleshooting Citrix desktop visualization environment and thin client.Basic QualificationsBachelor's degree from an accredited college with less than 2 years of prior relevant experienceStrong problem solving and organizational skills and able to work in a professional environment.Strong communication skills, both written and verbalClearance Requirement: ability to obtain TS/SCIPreferred QualificationsDHS or other government contract experience.Knowledge of HEITS processes.Comfortable discussing technical information with users and other support personnel.Ability to quickly learn new systems and IT concepts.Strong problem solving and decision making skills.Ability to work autonomously as well as an integral member of a team.Original Posting Date:2024-10-24While subject to change based on business needs, Leidos reasonably anticipates that this job requisition will remain open for at least 3 days with an anticipated close date of no earlier than 3 days after the original posting date as listed above.Pay Range:Pay Range $48,100.00 - $86,950.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline onlyand not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
