Job Description Windom Area Health in Windom, MN is seeking a dedicated Dietary Aide/Cook to join our team. As a vital member of our food services department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our patients receive high-quality, appetizing meals during their stay with us.
Position: Dietary Aide/Cook FTE: .6 Pay range: $16.58 - $21.55 Location: Windom, MN Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook meals according to dietary requirements and portion sizes Ensure that all food is prepared and served in a safe and sanitary manner Collaborate with dietary staff to provide exceptional customer service to patients Adhere to all dietary restrictions and special requests Assist with dishwashing and kitchen cleaning duties as needed Qualifications:
Previous experience in a food service or healthcare setting preferred Knowledge of proper food handling and safety procedures Ability to work well under pressure and in a team environment Excellent communication and customer service skills Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed As a Dietary Aide/Cook, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our patients by providing them with delicious and nutritious meals that contribute to their overall well-being.

Windom Area Health (WAH) is an 18-bed Critical Access Hospital located in Windom, MN. The hospital serves Windom, Mt. Lake and the surrounding areas. Windom Area Health provides specialty outreach services on a regular basis including cardiology, hematology/oncology, podiatry, general surgery, orthopedics, ophthalmology, pulmonology, urology and occupational/speech/physical therapies. Emergency room, laboratory and imaging services are also available 24 hours a day.
