Minimum Qualifications Current unrestricted State Registered Nurse license. One year of continuous nursing experience or equivalent. Valid driver's license, and access to vehicle, proof of current auto insurance. Strong verbal, written and organizational skills. Five years of verifiable employment history, or a complete employment history if less than five years Desired Qualifications Extensive assessment skills.
Experience Working with VA HCO standards, rules and regulations.
At least two years of nursing experience.
At least one year of work in the home care industry.

Job Description - The organizations designated registered nurse is responsible for the supervision of personal care services.
The personal care services shall include:
Assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) Administration of normally self-administered drugs as allowed in § 54.1-3408 of the Virginia Drug Control Act (Chapter 34 (§ 54.1-3400 et seq.)
of Title 54.1 of the Code of Virginia); Taking and recording vital signs, if specified in the plan of service Recording and reporting to the supervisor any changes regarding the client's condition, behavior or appearance; and Documenting the services delivered in the client's record. Additional responsibilities of the organizations registered nurse:
Assess client care needs and develop a written plan of services in collaboration with the client, client's family, and ameriCARENOVA Administration.
Assessments will be done both in home and/or via Zoom. Help develop Standard Operating Procedures for Caregivers within the organization and create training materials for caregivers. Supervision of caregiver services as often as necessary as determined by the client's needs, the assessment of the registered nurse, and the organization's written policies not to exceed 90 days.
Such assessments will be performed every 92 days for CNA/PCA level clients, and every 122 days for Companion level clients.
