We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Business Development to join our team. This role reports directly to the Senior VP of Sales and will focus on expanding our footprint in the U.S. and Canada. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics and a passion for driving business growth.

We are a full-service third-party logistics provider specializing in dedicated warehousing and trucking, with additional services in network design consulting and final mile delivery. Our team has extensive experience in warehousing services, transportation management, supply chain management, order fulfillment, and labor solutions.
Job Summary:
The Director of Business Development will play a crucial role in shaping the strategic direction and growth of our commercial contract logistics and labor solutions sales activities across the Americas and Canada. This position is ideal for someone who excels in building and nurturing B2B and B2C relationships, particularly with manufacturers and wholesalers.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the growth and strategic direction of commercial contract logistics and labor solutions sales.
Actively pursue new business opportunities, qualify leads, and understand customer needs to recommend tailored solutions.
Drive market penetration, negotiate deals, and set pricing strategies.
Focus on long-term goals including new business development, revenue growth (both domestic and international), and enhancing account responsibility.
Coordinate the complete sales cycle, from prospect list initiation and lead generation to contract signing and customer service follow-up.
Expand the account base, increase revenues, and improve profitability across various industry verticals.
Perform additional office duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of experience in sales, account management, or solutions management within third-party logistics and/or supply chain sectors.
Proven track record in closing and managing large accounts and achieving organic growth of existing accounts.
Strong business planning skills, including budgeting and forecasting.
Experience in directing pricing proposals and managing contract negotiations.
Proficient in using Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
Ability to travel up to 50% or more, depending on organizational needs.
Remote work capability.
Executive-level presentation and engagement skills.
Proactive approach with strong customer service orientation.
Must pass a background check and drug screen.
