Your Mission: The Director of Corporate Engagement is a key leader within CASL's Development team, responsible for cultivating and managing relationships with corporate supporters to drive long-term investment in CASL's mission. Reporting to the Vice President of Advancement, this role focuses on expanding CASL's corporate donor pipeline, securing financial and in-kind contributions, and fostering strategic collaborations. The Director plays a pivotal role in creating and implementing strategies that enhance corporate engagement through sponsorships, volunteer opportunities, and innovative partnerships. Through this work, the Director will directly impact CASL's ability to secure sustainable funding and broaden corporate support for its programs.

Your Impact: As a Director of Corporate Engagement, you will:
Key Responsibilities:Corporate Donor Management: Oversee the management of corporate donor data in Salesforce, ensuring the accurate and timely documentation of all interactions and relationships. Pipeline Growth: Increase the corporate prospect pipeline by 20% annually.Corporate Engagement Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive corporate engagement strategy in collaboration with the Development Manager, focusing on financial support, in-kind contributions, volunteer opportunities, and corporate partnerships. Conduct a minimum of 25 corporate engagement activities weekly.Corporate Portfolio Management: Manage a portfolio of 125-150 corporate supporters and prospects, identifying and cultivating new corporate partners locally, regionally, and nationally.Corporate Sponsorship: Lead corporate sponsorship proposals, solicitations, and follow-up activities, ensuring multi-year corporate commitments. Submit at least 10 corporate sponsorship or funding proposals per quarter, focusing on multi-year partnerships.Sponsorship Fulfillment: Ensure the fulfillment of corporate sponsorship agreements, providing recognition and ongoing stewardship to partners.Corporate Foundation Proposals: Collaborate with the grants team to develop compelling corporate foundation proposals and solicitation materials, ensuring alignment with CASL's goals.Creative Partnership Development: Develop innovative opportunities to enhance corporate partnerships, including recognition and gratitude programs to foster long-term relationships.Event Sponsorship: Collaborate with the Events Coordinator and Development Manager to create impactful sponsorship packages for key CASL events.Corporate Communication: Coordinate with the Marketing and Communications team to develop and promote materials that enhance corporate visibility through social media and other channels.Data Management: Ensure 100% of corporate donor interactions are accurately logged in Salesforce within 48 hours of engagement.Representation and Visibility: Serve as a key representative of CASL at corporate engagement events, conferences, and meetings. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance CASL's presence and expand corporate partnerships.Additional Responsibilities: Contribute to additional responsibilities as needed to support the Development department's initiatives and overall organizational goals, ensuring flexibility and alignment with CASL's evolving needs.Must Haves - To thrive in this role, you should have:Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree required; a degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or Philanthropic Studies is preferred.Minimum of 8 years' experience in corporate engagement, fundraising, or development, with a proven track record of building corporate partnerships.Proficiency with donor/CRM software, particularly Salesforce, is required.Skills & Knowledge
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to operate professionally in various working conditions.Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with a proven capacity to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels.Proven ability to thrive in a dynamic environment, effectively managing multiple high-priority projects while exercising sound judgment in setting priorities and meeting deadlines.Exceptional team-building and interpersonal skills, with a strong track record of fostering collaboration and engagement across diverse groups.Excellent organizational skills, with meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accuracy and efficiency.Experience with project management tools, such as Asana, is preferred, with the ability and willingness to learn new systems as needed.Knowledge of simplified written Chinese is a plus.Environment & SchedulingStandard business hours, Monday through Friday, with flexibility to work additional hours, including evenings and weekends, as necessary.The ideal candidate will be based in the Chicagoland area to actively engage with corporate partners and attend community events in person.
