We're seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Finance and Accounting to join our team. As the Director of Finance and Accounting, you will play a key role in driving the financial strategy and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial operations. You'll manage a small, yet impactful team, which will require you to be hands-on in various aspects of our company's operations.
Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage the finance and accounting operations of the company
Manage and build a high-performing finance and accounting team, both in the US and in India
Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes and provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and accounting principles
Evaluate, recommend, and implement software tools and systems to improve efficiency and accuracy
Prepare and present financial reports to the executive team and board of directors
Oversee the audit process, working closely with external auditors to ensure all audit requirements are met on on time
Manage relationships with external auditors, banks, and other financial stakeholders
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
CPA required
Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting roles, with a minimum of 4 years at a $30-50mm SAAS start-up with 200-300 people
Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial regulations
Experience in FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis)
Proven experience setting up and optimizing financial processes and systems.
Experience leading and managing a team in the US and familiarity with managing accounting operations in India is preferred.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Proficiency in financial management software and MS Office
