We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Real Estate Operations to lead and oversee the day-to-day operations of our real estate portfolio. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing all aspects of our real estate operations, including property management, leasing, maintenance, and financial performance. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of the real estate industry.
** Operational * Oversee the daily operations of the real estate portfolio, ensuring properties are managed efficiently and effectively.Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and best practices to enhance property performance.Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and industry standards. Property * Supervise property management teams to ensure high standards of service delivery.Monitor and evaluate property performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.Coordinate maintenance and repair activities to ensure properties are well-maintained and meet safety standards. Leasing and Tenant * Manage leasing activities, including tenant acquisition, lease negotiations, and renewals.Foster positive tenant relationships, addressing concerns and resolving issues promptly.Implement strategies to maximize occupancy rates and tenant retention. Financial * Develop and manage the annual budget for real estate operations, ensuring financial targets are met.Monitor and analyze financial performance, including revenue, expenses, and profitability.Prepare and present financial reports to senior management and stakeholders. Strategic * Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and execute strategic plans for the real estate portfolio.Identify opportunities for growth and expansion, including property acquisitions and development projects.Conduct market research and analysis to inform decision-making and investment strategies. Team * Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of real estate professionals.Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and continuous improvement.Provide guidance and support to team members, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred. ** Minimum of 10 years of experience in real estate operations, property management, or a related field.
