Osmind is building the Osmind Psychiatry Innovation Network (OPIN), a revolutionary managed services organization focused on supporting independent psychiatric practices, particularly those offering innovative treatments like TMS, Spravato, and other interventional modalities. We are seeking an experienced, strategist, and hands-on RCM leader to build and scale our RCM operations from the ground up, serving as a cornerstone of our services offering launching in 2025. This role is designed for a player coach who can manage the daily billing operations while crafting and executing a forward-thinking roadmap that aligns billing processes with the company's long-term goals.
Position Overview As Head of RCM, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and scaling best-in-class RCM operations to support psychiatric practices across the United States. This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on operational execution to build both onshore and offshore teams focused on maximizing revenue for our provider network while maintaining high-quality standards and compliance.
\n Key ResponsibilitiesStrategy & LeadershipDevelop and execute the overall RCM strategy for our RCM services offeringBuild and lead high-performing teams across US and international locationsSet and monitor KPIs to ensure operational excellence and financial targetsManage vendor relationships and partnershipsOversee team performance and professional development Operations & Process DesignDesign end-to-end centralized RCM workflows for complex psychiatric billing, including interventional treatments, and establish processes for benefits verification, prior authorization, claims submission, and denials managementCreate quality assurance frameworks and compliance protocolsImplement best practices for clean claims submission and denial preventionDevelop standard operating procedures and documentation Technology & SystemsPartner with product/engineering teams to define requirements for RCM technology toolsEvaluate and implement RCM software solutions and automation toolsDrive automation initiatives to improve efficiency Financial Performance & AnalyticsSet and achieve revenue cycle performance targetsMonitor key metrics including clean claim rates, days in AR, denial ratesDevelop reporting frameworks to track team and financial performanceIdentify opportunities for revenue optimizationProvide regular performance updates to leadership Compliance & Risk ManagementEnsure compliance with healthcare regulations and billing requirements and stay current with changes in billing rules and regulationsMaintain documentation of policies and proceduresConduct regular audits of billing practices Client SuccessEnsure high satisfaction levels among provider clientsAct as an escalation point for complex billing issuesBuild relationships with key provider accounts Required Experience10+ years of healthcare RCM experience, with at least 5 years in leadership rolesProven track record building and scaling RCM operations from scratch, including both US-based and offshore teamsDeep understanding of behavioral health billing, particularly for specialized treatments and proceduresExperience implementing and optimizing RCM technology solutionsStrong background in healthcare compliance and regulatory requirementsHistory of achieving strong financial results through effective RCM operationsExperience managing teams of 30+ across multiple locations Preferred ExperienceDirect experience with psychiatric or behavioral health billingKnowledge of TMS, Spravato, or ketamine therapy billing requirementsPrevious experience at a managed services organization or large medical groupExperience building RCM operations in India or the PhilippinesThe ideal candidate will combine deep technical RCM expertise with strong leadership abilities and a track record of building high-performing teams across multiple geographies. Depending on experience and location The reasonably estimated national salary range for this position is between $140,000 - $160,000 annually, plus an equity package for eligible employees. Actual compensation will be commensurate with the candidate's experience and local cost of labor.
