We're seeking a future team member for the role of Director, Strategic Planning to join our Client Services team. The preferred location for this role is New York City, NY - Hybrid.
In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
Partner with Client Service Practice Lead to define the vision, roadmap, and standards of the enterprise client service strategy
Identify and implement set of metrics that measure how BNY will drive better client outcomes (satisfaction, adoption, etc.)
Help to develop client service initiatives to fundamentally transform BNY's client impact
Define and execute the client service strategy, providing thought-leadership and partnership with other Practice leads to be aligned on enterprise strategy to deliver OKRs
Prepare content on progress of Practice roll-out for weekly stand-ups and additional forums
Drive Practice engagement and accountability across lead Service Delivery Groups to ensure the adoption success required within the Practice
Develop and maintain strong partnerships with Platform Leads, Practice Leads, Hub Leads, and other business functions as needed
To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:
Deep knowledge of BNY's products, their operations, and of the Platform domain area
Highly collaborative individual who can influence multiple internal partners to drive results in a matrixed organization
Ability to balance extremely high attention to detail and accuracy with tight deadlines on critically meaningful work
Intellectual curiosity: desire to constantly learn and continuously improve
Strong communication and presentation skills (both verbally and in writing) to a variety of audiences
Adept at articulating complex workstreams, successes and challenges, and future trends into an engaging storyline for senior executives and stakeholders
Qualifications:
Minimum of 10-12 years' experience
Bachelor's degree in business or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required
Experience managing teams with a demonstrated track record of process improvement and operational excellence

BNY assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $147,000 and $240,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNY total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs.
This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
