Responsibilities for EDGAR & Document Processing Specialist (Global Law Firm): Research and compile data needed to prepare electronic filing of SEC form types, EDGAR filings, and other financial compliance documentsCommunicate with lawyers and supervisors regarding jobs, instructions or deadlinesProvide at-desk support to lawyers or off-site client support as requestedAssist with the documentation and materials utilized in the department training programProduce, edit and format complex legal documents; format, revise and blackline documentsConvert documents to Word, Excel, Visio and PowerPointAnswer phones and provide technical help when neededProofread work for accuracy Requirements for EDGAR & Document Processing Specialist (Global Law Firm): 4+ years of experience as an EDGAR and document processing operatorAdvanced proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint; knowledge of PROFILE EDGAR software, DocX Tools, Workshare Compare, OmniPage, Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft OutlookExcellent work ethic and strong teamwork skills in a high volume, minimally staffed environmentMust be organized, able to work under pressure and meet deadlines with a calm, pleasant demeanorStrong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with attorneys, staff and clients
