About the position

We are seeking an inventive and motivated intern to join our editorial team.
In this role, you will learn the ins and outs of our growing, thriving editorial organization and collaborate with different teams to understand and participate in our process.


Interested candidates should provide a resume and a cover letter outlining why you want to intern at Wirecutter and your experience with managing projects or creating workflows.
Responsibilities: As the Summer 2025 Editorial Projects Intern, you'll report to the projects editor as an intern within our 100+ person editorial team.
You will contribute to editorial events and initiatives (everything from theme weeks to deal events to tracking new assignments), generate ideas on how to improve our editorial processes, and take ownership of projects.
You'll also have the opportunity to learn from and support other teams at Wirecutter, including our content, research, and web production teams.
Basic Qualifications Undergraduate, Graduate, or Recent Graduate students Preferred Qualifications Interested in service journalism and project management.
Highly motivated, and able to work independently and with minimal direction.
Able to communicate effectively, both in-person and remotely.
Organized, detail-oriented, and analytical.
Comfortable presenting ideas and solutions to managers and colleagues.
About Our Summer Internships: The duration is 10 weeks long, starting on June 2, 2025.
The rate of pay for this role is $20.00 per hour.
Interns work 40 hours per week.

The hourly rate of base pay for this role is:

$20-$20 USD
