Plastic Surgery Office Receptionist/Social Media Content Creator.

In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing basic support services for Medical Office intake operations.
Assist with post-visit inter-departmental scheduling for patient visits, treatments, and procedures in collaboration with other areas within the Medical Center.
Obtains pre-authorizations/certifications for treatments and diagnostic procedures as appropriate.
May provide assistance to less senior staff and cover the front-desk as needed.
Schedule Wednesday: 7:30am - 3:30pm
Thursday: 9am - 5pm
Friday: 9am - 5pm
Responsibilities Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the officeManage patient flowSchedule appointmentsCoordinate & process payments, payment plans & patient memberships plansFollow up on patient inquiries, consults and leads via phone, text, emailProvide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email/textAnswer, screen and forward incoming phone callsResponsible for the distribution, handling & preparation of all incoming & outgoing mail/deliveries/packagesEnsure reception area is tidy and presentable & the front desk is well stocked (e.g.
pens, business cards, forms, brochures, etc.
)Maintain inventory of all medical, marketing & office suppliesPerform other clerical receptionist duties as assignedManage reports for location as requested by managementSupport medical team as necessaryOther tasks as assigned Qualifications To qualify you must have a High School diploma.
1 year of relevant medical clerical experience or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must include prior physician practice experience and knowledge of medical terminology.
Background in computer literacy preferred.
Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communications skills required.
