Title: EHS Specialist
Location: Piscataway, NJ - some travel with a chance to cover 2 NJ sites and 1 Chicago site (per diem, expenses paid)
Hours: Mon-Fri 8am-5pm (ability to work flexible hours as needed)

Requirements BS or Master's degree in Engineering (Chem E preferred) 3+ years with EHS experience in the pharmaceutical industry (GMP) Ok if they come from the service side of the industry Knowledge of MSDS Coordinate with subordinates and consultants Time Management skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Proficient with MS Office, AutoCAD desirable Ability to multitask, escalate issues, and maintain timelines Responsibilities The Facilities Engineer must ensure that compliance with safety standards is being followed:
Must ensure that maintenance and inspections are being performed as per cGMP standards Perform routine inspections on the utilities and equipment Monitor the BMS system (Building Management System) and coordinate the PM schedule and maintenance activity Follow safety rules and regulations as per OSHA and other applicable agencies Ensure proper maintenance of facility equipment/utilities/plant Generate engineering documents for equipment, facility, and utilities and execute the same Execute on projects and vendor development Assist in improving teamwork efficiency by implementing technically possible corrections Maintain documentation as per company's requirement/GMP requirements Maintain and update the PM Master Schedule list as required Maintain and coordinate to have the updated floor plans and P&ID of the equipment and facility Monitor the BMS system, utility, and equipment and maintain the logbook Prepare and update the Engineering SOP as required Support in construction and project-related activity Coordinate with external vendors as required Perform other functions as required or assigned Comply with all company policies and standards
