Electro-Mechanical Design Engineer Position Summary Lufkin's Electro-Mechanical team seeks a skilled and driven Electro-mechanical Design Engineer to Support Lufkin Automation product line with new product introduction projects, product series maintenance and support.

Minimum Requirements Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university, or at least five years of related experience and/or training; equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
Proficient with electrical drawings / design Good Knowledge of International Codes and Standards Experience with AutoCad and Altium Design Software.
Knowledge on Low Power and Digital Electronics.
Knowledge on use and operation of Variable Frequency Drives.
Familiarity with Oil and Gas Automation applications and the associated equipment.
Legal authorization to work in the US is required.

Available to work in-person at Missouri City, Texas.
This is not a remote work.
Responsibilities Support Lufkin Automation product line with new product introduction projects, product series maintenance and support.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conceptualize, design, and develop electromechanical systems, products, and components.
Integrate components into design process, ensuring compatibility and functionality.
Providing documentation, including design guidelines, to help with product manufacturing and implementation.
Research, design, assemble and test prototypes and document all results.
Assist in analyzing, reviewing, comparing, and proposing rectification on product cost.
Independently work and coordinate with sales, marketing, operations, production, and manufacturing to provide technical data and product information for prototype manufacturing through to product commercialization.
