System One is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Engineer for our client in Tulsa, OK. Our client is an ISO-13485:2016 certified preferred provider for best-in-class repair services for medical imaging products. The company operates an FDA-registered site for the design and manufacturing of ultrasound transducers and related products. Job Description In this position the qualified candidate will primarily be responsible for the design and implementation of new ultrasound probe repair technologies. A typical project will involve reverse-engineering an OEM ultrasound probe and developing a comprehensive repair solution. This could include anything from the ultrasound array, handle plastics, lens & housings, mechanical articulation systems, printed circuit boards, cables, and system interface connectors. Most of the electrical and mechanical work is very small or micro scale technology. A portion of the job will also include working with the operations technical team to support daily/weekly technical challenges or urgent customer needs. The position demands both mechanical and electrical skill sets. While the job trends towards requiring more mechanical engineering skills, a qualified electrical engineer will also be considered.
