About the Role:
Passive Plus is looking for an Electronic Technician to be part of Passive Plus Technical Assistance department.
We are looking for someone who has a good foundation of electronic theory, with familiarity in component level electronics.
Responsibilities: Measurement of electrical parameters for passive electronic components (Capacitors, Resistors, Inductors) using basic electronic instruments (Capacitance meter, Multimeter, Oscilloscope, etc.).
Operation of specialized equipment (Coaxial Resonant Tube, RF Power Test Setup, Vector Network Analyzer, Temperature Chambers).
Management and presentation of collected data to Engineering.
Maintaining calibration/service records for instruments in the lab.
Qualifications: Associate's degree in Electronic Technology, Electronic Engineering Technology, or equivalent technical training.
Electronic Theory: Basic Circuit Theory, Series/Parallel Circuits, Resonance, basic operation and use of Capacitors/Resistors/Inductors Mechanical: familiarity with hand tools, soldering iron Desirable Qualifications Knowledge of RF concepts: Frequency Plots, Scattering Parameters, Smith Chart Knowledge of electrical design software: Sonnet, HFSS, Spice Software Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point Drafting: AutoCad Why should you join our team?
