Medcor is looking to hire a full-time Employee Screening Services Management Trainee to work in our McHenry, IL corporate office. This is a hybrid role and you will be required to work in the McHenry office three days per week. The work hours will be 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. Under close guidance, the Management Trainee will participate in a rigorous training program encompassing various aspects of the business such as operational workflow, client management, people management and regulatory compliance. The role is responsible for successfully gaining and applying the essential knowledge, skills and capabilities necessary to assume and succeed in mid- level manager role.

This position will be a multi-tasking function that supports leadership, troubleshoots, creates new solutions, and daily operational and support. A typical day in the life of an ESS Management Trainee: Learn the day-to-day operations, including sample collection, handling,
analysis and reporting processes, and understand the workflow and logistics critical to ensuring timely and accurate drug testing results. Understand the financial aspects of the organization, resource allocation, budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting. and analyzing financial data to make informed decisions and to identify areas for growth and improvement.Assist in managing day-to-day priorities and workflow, and understand how workflow impacts team, client, business goals and results. Assist in strategic planning, including developing, implementing, and managing strategies to achieve goals and objectives. Collaborate with team and key stakeholders to develop, enhance, and implement operational policies, procedures and processes for assigned product, service and/or systems. Learn to develop clear, easy-to-understand reporting methods and dashboards and assist in preparing and presenting updates to key stakeholders. Gain in-depth knowledge of federal regulatory, state and local laws, changes, and mandates, and ensure staff is trained in accordance with these standards, and stay current with best practices and industry trends. Understand how to apply decision-making processes, including identifying
potential issues, areas of improvement and examining potential solutions and presenting recommendations to improve the financial and operational efficiency of the business.Understand how to leverage data to monitor client satisfaction, using insights to inform strategy and support decision-making.Complete required courses/qualifications training related to industry via professional organization and/or industry course. Obtain and maintain a DOT/Non-DOT Drug Screen and Breath Alcohol Certification. Maintain professional working relationship with assigned key account personnel developing an authentic working partnership, which allows for the development of trusting and collaborative working to encourage new and repeat business opportunities.Have proven competencies in software applications and programs, particularly Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Power Point, and OutlookHave a strong sense of urgency, adaptability, flexibility and resourcefulnessYou Must Have a high school diploma or GEDHave knowledge of the federal registry and state lawsHave a reasonable knowledge of drug testing and the various means of testing with at least 3 years of relevant experience in operations, client/account services, or customer service.At least 1 year of lead or supervisory experience.Working knowledge of operations management.Experience scheduling, organizing and monitoring the work of others. Have excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and interpersonal skillsMaintain the confidentiality of our clients and their employees It's a Plus If: You have an Associates or Bachelors degree in Business, Business Administration or related fieldAt least 3 years of relevant experience in operations, client/account services, or customer service.At least 1 year of lead or supervisory experience.Working knowledge of operations management.
