The Employment Coordinator provides supervision and support to the employment specialists and develops and coordinates employment service's procedures for all Job Training & Placement Programs. The standard workweek is Monday through Friday, and general office hours are from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. daily. Workday lengths for exempt employees are determined primarily by their current workloads. Responsibilities include: · Responsible for employer recruitment, creating one on one relationships with each employer, obtaining job opening information, and maintaining updated employer job openings spreadsheet. · Assist Employment Specialists with job opening information, matching resumes and forwarding resumes to employer contact to secure job interviews. · Weekly update of employer spreadsheet, track referrals, placements and maintain spreadsheet for audit purposes. · Work collaboratively with employers, agency and community partners in promoting employment services Job Training Programs. · Attend monthly supervision with Director of Employment Services. · Conduct monthly supervision meetings for employment specialists. · Assist Director of Employment Services streamlining procedures and processes with regard to the screening of applicants for program eligibility, client intake and assessments, and enrolling clients utilizing agency and funder database software as needed and required. · Assist Director in assuring that employment team enters agency and funder data as related to the number of job placements, coaching sessions, client interviews, case noting and attendance in Job Readiness Class and Transitional Work Experience Programs. · Assist Director in assuring accuracy of employment services team's data as entered into agency and funder databases. · Monitor and adjust the client process for completing all necessary paperwork for referral to Job Training and Transitional work experience programs. · Oversee client recruitment and enrollment as related to all Job Training and Placement programs. · Assist Director to oversee client recruitment and enrollment as related to all Job Training and Placement programs. · Assist and train in specific employment processes pertaining to agency and funder programs. · Assist Director with oversight of maintaining client electronic data entry. Assure that electronic data is maintained in accordance with agency and funder guidelines. · Assist in providing engaging, interactive instruction for agency programs as needed and required. · Facilitate and conduct weekly employment staffings. · Prepare agency employment data for invoicing funders. · Assist in the preparation of instructional program materials and program delivery as needed and required. · Provide life coaching, job coaching and other case management as needed. · Attend workshops and seminars for professional growth and as approved by the Director of Employment Services. · Collaborate with the Advancement Department as it applies to gifts-in-kind and sharing client stories to aid the department with necessary information to share the impact of The Lord's Place with our community. · Perform additional duties as assigned by the Director of Employment Services according to changing agency program requirements. Bachelor's Degree preferred. · Requires excellent verbal and communication skills. · Requires excellent computer knowledge. · Special Requirements and Physical Demands · Requires ability to operate business equipment used daily within the organization. · May require lifting up to 15 lbs.
