Title: Boston Scientific R&D Systems Engineering Co-op

Your Opportunity:
As a co-op at Boston Scientific, you will…
Support the development of Endoscopy systems that provide visualization during gastrointestinal procedures such as ERCP, EGD, and surgical cholangioscopy
Be part of the design team to: Design and coordinate engineering experiments to evaluate performance characteristics of next-generation Endoscopy systems
Design, procure, and fabricate simple tooling and fixtures for testing
Investigate capital system prototypes for hardware and software anomalies
Work alongside R&D team including systems engineers, optical engineers, and electrical engineers
Perform basic statistical analyses on test data as necessary?
Train on new processes and/or test procedures?as needed
Your Qualifications:
B.S./M.S/PhD in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Optical Engineering, or Biomedical Engineering with a focus on electromechanical device development. BS students must be graduating in 2026 or 2027.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous internships or research experience in medical imaging or electromechanical device development
