Join Kay Apartment Communities' engineering team. Kay's engineering department is responsible for maintaining the mechanical, electrical & plumbing systems of our properties and is committed to providing exceptional customer service and a comfortable living experience for our residents.
Responsibilities Provide exceptional customer service and effectively communicate with residents, guests, visitors and staff within company policies and Fair Housing laws. Oversee service performed by contractors on the mechanical, electrical & plumbing systems.Perform daily, weekly, monthly and annual inspections of building systems and central plant equipment as defined in our preventative maintenance program.Performing diagnostics, repairs, replacements and installations of items such as: o Chillers
o Boilers (Hot Water & Steam)
o Pumps
o Cooling Towers
o Heat Exchangers
o Controls
o Motor Starters
o Domestic Water Distribution Piping
o Hot/Chilled Water Distribution Piping
o Exhaust/Supply Fans
o Fan Coil Units
o Split System AC/Heat Pump Units
Perform other duties as assigned:
