Responsibilities:
The Engineering Project Manager will schedule, coordinate, and maintain effective "cradle to grave" control over multiple projects.
He or she will regularly report the status of each project, immediately notifying management of significant deviation from projected cost, duration, or scope.
The Project Manager acts as the primary liaison between the project team and the customer.
The Engineering Project Manager's primary responsibilities include:Develop project schedules, including critical dates and milestone tasks/events for all key disciplines Use all pertinent project data to populate and maintain project communication documents Work closely with sales, accounting, engineering, purchasing and production personnel on a daily basis Aid in the development of Project Scope Documents Confirm that project design and execution conform to scope-of-work documentation Work with customer's project representatives and communicate project status regularly through frequent contact and communication Maintain constant awareness and control of project costs Actively promote a culture of professionalism, reliability, and customer satisfaction Conduct Post-Project Reviews and communicate recommendations for subsequent project improvement Support the Project Management team as required Travel up to 15% of the time The qualified candidate should have:BS in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience Proven leadership skills and tendencies Previous experience in a manufacturing environment Excellent written and verbal communication skills Effective customer relationship skills Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel Excellent organizational skills A demonstrated commitment to follow-through The ideal candidate would have:Experience managing projects in a manufacturing or construction environment Understanding of automated process equipment and controls Ability to read and understand blueprints Working knowledge of industrial contracts and specifications Salary and BenefitsBase Salary with Annual Bonus Benefits including: Health, Dental, Vision insurance 401k plan with Matching 10 Vacation Days 5 Sick Days 10 Paid Holidays Life, LTD, and AD&D insurance - company paid Short Term Disability insurance - company paid Opportunities to learn from a strong and cohesive engineering team.
