Yoh is looking for an Engineering Technician to come in and join our Biotech/ Pharma client for their state-of-the-art manufacturing building.
The ideal individual will come in with 3+ years' experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a laboratory environment.
In addition, candidates will need an Associate's Degree or equivalent.
This position requires strong trouble shooting and communication skills.

Responsibilities
Support Manufacturing areas, I.e.
perform day-to-day routine equipment maintenance, troubleshoot and repair equipment, schedule calibration/preventative maintenance Organize lab operation processes, and support general lab activities along with the automation team to promote an efficient working environment Purchase, install, inventory, maintain, troubleshoot, coordinate services, and retire lab equipment when necessary Aide other engineering teams in assembly of bespoke automation or tooling. Collect or document, organize, and analyze service agreements and reports obtained from calibration and maintenance processes from external vendors as well as internal maintenance teams. Perform duties as assigned in conjunction with the manufacturing automation team. Collaborate with EH&S and Facilities teams to ensure a safe and functional lab environment Support deployment and upkeep of a global CMMS database and digital record archive system. Develop and maintain Spare Parts Programs for manufacturing equipment. Perform equipment periodic maintenance and calibration of biotech equipment in the production facility Independence: directions on priorities/goals from leadership, maintain the ticketing system and fixing MFG equipment (follow work instructions that they have authored) 80%: completely autonomous, 20% project driven, supervised by engineers Contribute to cross-functional and intra-functional LCE projects (e.g.
continuous improvement) Contributes to defining roadmaps for LCE projects.
Qualifications Associate's Degree or equivalent.
Bachelor's degree is preferred.
3+ years experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a laboratory environment Strong troubleshooting skills Available to support manufacturing area during weekend or shift.
Excellent organization and prioritization skills Strong communication skills: listening, speaking, writing, and interacting Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds Experience working with industrial and/or laboratory equipment. Basic computer skills and proficiency with spreadsheets (Ex.
Smartsheets, Excel) Experience with using or administrating a CMMS. Strong team collaboration skills Detail-oriented with experience driving tasks and meeting deadlines Must be flexible, forward-thinking, motivated, and have the ability to act independently while balancing a board range of organizational needs Demonstrated skill in problem-solving and the ability to handle operations issues in a fast-paced environment with a customer-focused attitude
