Associate degree, technical/business school, or equivalent experience. Detailed Job Description: We are seeking a Contract Time Study Engineer in the Manufacturing department. You will play a crucial role in optimizing and improving the efficiency of production processes within our organization. You will be responsible for conducting time studies, analyzing data, and identifying areas for improvement to enhance productivity and reduce costs. Your expertise in process improvement and time management will be essential in driving operational excellence. ResponsibilitiesConduct time studies and gather data on production processes to determine the most efficient methods and identify areas for improvement. Analyze data collected during time studies to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas where productivity can be enhanced. Utilize software tools and systems to track and monitor productivity metrics. Support other projects as assigned Skills and ExperienceStrong analytical skills and ability to analyze complex data sets to identify patterns, trends, and opportunities for improvement. Excellent time management and organizational skills to effectively prioritize and manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously. Proficiency in time study methodologies, work measurement techniques, and process improvement tools such as Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen. Strong problem-solving abilities with a focus on delivering practical and efficient solutions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and effectively convey ideas and recommendations. Detail-oriented and highly observant to accurately capture and document time study data. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Familiarity with manufacturing processes and production systems is preferred.
