Responsibilities:
- Provide expert legal advice and guidance on estate planning and wealth transfer strategies to clients.
- Collaborate with clients to assess their financial goals, priorities, and unique circumstances.
- Develop and implement customized estate plans, including wills, trusts, charitable giving strategies, and business succession plans.
- Conduct thorough research and analysis of tax laws, regulations, and case precedents to determine optimal strategies for clients.
- Advise clients on minimizing tax liabilities and maximizing the preservation and growth of their wealth.
- Prepare and review legal documents, including trust agreements, powers of attorney, healthcare directives, and beneficiary designations.
Qualifications:
- Admission to the Oregon state bar and in good standing.
- 3-9 years of experience in estate planning and wealth transfer
- In-depth knowledge of estate planning laws and tax regulations
- Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Experience with high-net-worth trusts is a plus not required
- Ability to bring in clients. Enthusiastic, positive approach, team player.
- Strong attention to detail, writing and research skills, and work ethic.
