We are seeking a meticulous and dedicated professional to join our team as an Estimator/Costing Manager. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented individual with a strong affinity for numbers and construction processes. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurate estimation and database management to ensure cost-effectiveness and efficiency in our home building projects.
Responsibilities: Develop detailed cost estimates by analyzing plans and specifications and identifying specific factors that could affect costs.Manage and update the construction cost database, ensuring all data is accurate and up-to-date.Collaborate with the project management team to ensure estimates are comprehensive and project budgets are adhered to.Utilize construction management software such as BuilderMT, ECI Mark Systems, or similar platforms to optimize our home building processes.Conduct regular audits of project costs and prepare detailed reports on findings and recommendations.Provide technical support and training to team members on the use of construction management software.Qualifications: Proven experience as an estimator or relevant role within the construction industry.Strong proficiency in Excel and experience with construction management software such as BuilderMT or ECI Mark Systems is highly desirable.Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to organize and manage large sets of data efficiently.Excellent analytical skills and the ability to work independently for prolonged periods.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with various teams.Ability to do detailed plan take-offs utilizing a digital on-screen software such as Planswift or Blue Beam.Pay & Benefits $80,000-$100,000/year401KProfit SharingHealthcareAdditional Information: This position is open to remote candidates across the nation, provided they demonstrate the ability to manage tasks effectively from a distance and have the requisite experience in using specified builder software.
