We create the best full-service event production and food experiences in Kansas City, Major League Soccer, and beyond.
In order to produce the best experiences, we have an in-house private events team that works closely with our own culinary and operations departments.
Job Description Essential Functions Report to the Senior Sales Manager to effectively and strategically enhance Argyle Events by Sporting KC's client base.
Prospect and sell our event services at Children's Mercy Park, Compass Minerals National Performance Center and Three Points with a deep understanding of our dedication to creating unparalleled experiences by presenting our brand's unique value propositions and securing new business opportunities.
Network with local organizations to acquire new clients and sales.
Actively seek out and engage potential clients, delivering compelling presentations that highlight our commitment to superior guest experiences.
Maintain and continually grow the company's prospective client pipeline.
Maintain and continually improve upon customer satisfaction.
Foster customer loyalty by building authentic relationships with current and prospective clients and deliver a positive and memorable event experience through regular meetings and interactions.
Conduct event space tours.
Provide accurate and timely information to clients.
Create, track and maintain all proposals for prospective clients, detailing the progress of the sales process.
Prepare documents as needed, including expense reports, account budgets, BEOs, contracts, spreadsheets, etc.
Always Represent Sporting Kansas City and its related affiliates in a professional manner.
Support Sporting Kansas City's mission, vision and purpose.
Perform other related tasks as assigned.
This role does not have any direct reports.

Skills and Experience Bachelor's degree in business, hospitality management, event management, sports management, marketing, or other related field preferred.
Preferred 2 -3 years of event sales and/or planning experience.
Preferred experience in Tripleseat or other CRM software.
Capacity to adapt to the unique and vibrant Kansas City market.
Must be able to fluently speak, read, and write in the English language.
Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite.
