Her Workplace is seeking an Events & Partnerships Manager to join our growing start-up and support our mission building an inclusive in-person and virtual career network for the next generation of women and non-binary leaders.

As the Events & Partnerships Manager, you'll work closely with our leadership team in supporting the development and execution of our virtual and in-person events, both in NYC and nationally, including all partnerships and sponsorships associated with our programming.
Responsibilities: Oversee the planning and execution of all community in-person and virtual events and programming across the country. Develop and secure relationships with event partners and sponsors. Manage our Community Engagement Committee across each national market to support the planning and execution of our in-person events. Manage our Events and Partnerships Coordinators who work closely in each market on managing and executing our in-person events. Support our team in set-up, check-in, and breakdown of our in-person events. Oversee and provide operational support for all virtual events. Occasionally lead Q&A panels, roundtable discussions, networking, and/or social activities. Help to produce photos and videos during all of our events. Act as a dedicated brand ambassador, promoting and embodying the mission and values of Her Workplace. Leadership Skills: You can effectively manage and support our Community Engagement Committee and Events and Partnerships Coordinators, ensuring successful event execution. Brand Ambassador: You passionately promote and embody the mission and values of Her Workplace, interacting with members and partners in a friendly, compassionate, and professional manner. Honesty and Integrity: You are committed to honesty in all actions, adhering to the highest standards of integrity. Additional Requirements: 5+ years of experience in event planning and/or community building. Management experience is ideal. Knowledge of social media platforms and digital marketing is a bonus. Must be based in NYC to work closely with leadership team. Must be able to travel as needed. Minimum of 20 hours per week.
