Full job description Are you looking for a company who values you? 21st Century Rehab, PC is that company! We are a Physical Therapist owned practice seeking a full-time Patient Experience Coordinator to assist in a busy hospital setting, located in Jefferson, Iowa. Ideal candidates will have front office experience, medical experience a plus, with strong customer service, detail-oriented, positive attitude and a team player.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Greet patients and visitors and provide courteous, caring and professional assistance to all individuals contacting the office. Answer their questions and provide non-medical information and/or direct to appropriate person or department. Make, cancel and reschedule patient appointments. Maintain schedule according to office policy. Work with insurance carriers to help navigate benefits for our patients. Work as a team and independently on assigned tasks. Be aware of what is happening in clinic and the organization by attending clinic/organization meetings, reading emails and regularly checking information on the organization's intranet site. Conform to all confidentiality laws. Accurately and timely track daily, weekly and monthly productivity. Basic data entry duties. Supports and upholds the philosophy, objectives, and goals of 21st Century Rehab, PC. Ability to work during normal business hours; work a regular and reliable schedule, help fill in at other outpatient locations for vacation coverage. Perform other duties as requested by Clinic Director to facilitate the smooth and effective operations of the office.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Strong customer service skills. Ability to effectively enter information into a variety of computer programs. Ability to interact effectively with physicians, health care team members, individuals and members of their support systems. Provide excellent customer service to our patients. Operate office equipment and programs. Previous medical experience preferred. Understand and comply with organizational policies, procedures and systems. Ability to work as a team member. Strong computer skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Knowledge of insurance verification and google drive a plus. College degree a plus.
