The Facilities Supervisor at Hope City oversees the management, maintenance, and strategic planning of all owned or leased facilities, including properties under consideration for acquisition by Hope City, reporting directly to the Director of Logistics.
Working knowledge of building systems, maintenance practices, and regulatory requirements. Leadership abilities, including decision-making, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams and executives. Develop and execute strategic plans for the maintenance and operation of all facilities within the organization's portfolio. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, health, safety, and environmental standards. Involved in day-to-day operations, including repairs, maintenance, and renovations, in collaboration with property management teams and vendors. Supervise the management of owned and leased properties, and properties to be acquired in the future. Conduct regular inspections and assessments to evaluate property conditions and recommend necessary improvements or corrective actions. Partner with upline for awareness of negotiating lease agreements, contracts, and service agreements with landlords, vendors, and service providers. Periodic review of the facilities budget, ensuring efficient use of resources and cost-effective operations. Monitor expenditures and financial performance related to facility management activities. - Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiencies while maintaining high standards of facility upkeep. Partner with upline to create and implement long-term facility plans aligned with organizational goals and growth objectives. Collaborate closely with leadership to integrate facilities planning with broader organizational strategies. Ensure adherence to local, state, and federal regulations governing facility management, safety, and accessibility. Curate and propose policies and procedures to mitigate risks associated with facility operations. Maintain comprehensive records and documentation related to regulatory compliance. Lead sustainability efforts within facility operations, promoting energy efficiency, waste reduction, and environmentally friendly practices when able. Serve as the primary liaison for staff on facility-related matters, ensuring effective communication and responsiveness. Cultivate positive relationships with vendors, contractors, and community partners to support facility operations. Provide regular updates and reports to upline on facility performance, challenges, and strategic initiatives. Demonstrate initiative and leadership in managing assigned responsibilities and projects. Work autonomously to achieve set goals and objectives within specified timelines. - Collaborate with upline to maintain progress and alignment on departmental initiatives. Collaborate closely with upline and Hope City's Safety Director to create and maintain emergency response plans and protocols for all facilities, ensuring readiness to handle emergencies effectively. Implement continuity plans to mitigate disruptions and maintain operational resilience during crises. Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned by upline to support departmental goals and organizational needs. Drive forward progress on projects connected to the facilities department, ensuring alignment with overall organizational objectives. Willingness to commute to all campuses on periodic basis, during Sunday services, identified by needs and upline. Aid campus teams, during Sunday services, in operational excellence with emphasis regarding campus logistical needs.
