Our growing law firm is looking to hire a family law attorney who is fiercely passionate about representing clients facing one of the most challenging times in their lives.
Candidates should be adept at handling family law matters throughout the entire legal process with minimal supervision.
The primary responsibility of our family law associate attorney is to handle all aspects of a client's case, including communicating with clients and other counsels, drafting and reviewing pleadings, motions, and other Court documents, conducting discovery, preparing for and attending Court hearings, conferences, and trials.
Experience in handling legal issues such as child and spousal support, parenting time, domestic violence, and division of assets and debts is also a must.

Responsibilities

•Assist clients effectively by understanding their needs analyzing the situation then strategizing and deciding on a proper course of action
•Attend court proceedings as needed to represent clients
•Draft pleadings, motions, contracts, marital settlement agreements, judgements, and orders for a high volume of cases
•Handle the division of marital assets, including real estate, during divorce proceedings as needed
•Keep client files properly organized and up to date

Qualifications

•Must be a CA licensed attorney with a background in family law
