Our Vision:To end the cycle of poverty and prevent abuse and neglect of children and vulnerable adults (using an integrated Two-Generation approach) ACDHS uses an integrated Two-Generation (2Gen) approach to address all of the basic human services needs of the entire family unit.
The 2Gen approach begins with a mindset focused on family-centered program design, continues with the alignment of services and resources within the department as well as across multiple organizations, resulting in coordinated services to children and adults together (family) in order to create long term stability and sustainability.

The Family Services Coordinator will be responsible for the provision of family services and conduct Core Services planning.
This position is also responsible for representing the Department on various committees and serves as a liaison with our service providers and our Human Services Finance Division.
The Family Services Coordinator will provide support and guidance to caseworkers in accessing the most appropriate services and funding source to meet the family's needs.
Anticipated Hiring Range - Min: $66,755.78 - Max: $76,622.52 Duties
DUTIES: Coordination with the Human Services Finance Division regarding services utilization, referral management, contract, and budget compliance.
Partner with the Human Services Finance Division to meet with service providers to negotiate rates.
Attend Family Engagement Meetings (LINKS) and other staffings as needed, to authorize Core Services and enter service authorizations into the division databases.
Identify gaps in services, vet potential service providers and secure partnerships with providers to meet the service needs of the Child & Adult Protection Services Division.
Conduct quality assurance as well as track, analyze and report out on data/outcomes from providers in determining effectiveness of services.
Act as a liaison with providers and facilitate regular provider meetings with division management staff.
Communicate provider information to division manager and director as requested.
Attend State Core meetings and train county staff regarding Core services, address issues with providers as they arise.
Ensure provider feedback about county staff is properly shared with management.
Provide or coordinate trainings to division staff or provider network including the judicial system.
Assist staff to find the most appropriate services to meet the needs of families.
Participate in the ongoing development of the provider services program to include developing and implementing a new service desk concept where staff can seek guidance and assistance in identifying the right services and assist with referral process.
Ensure a strong balance of county fiscal responsibility and the service needs of children and families, while also ensuring our county is in compliance with county, state and federal laws and regulation.
REQUIREMENTS: Skills, Abilities and Competencies: Knowledge of office procedures, policies, and practices, as well as laws and regulations at the county, state, and federal levels.

Education and Experience: Bachelor of Social Work or Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science in Sociology, Psychology, Human Services, Guidance and Counseling and/or Child Development and 2 years of child welfare caseworker experience.
OR
Master's in Social Work or a Master's degree in Sociology, Psychology, Human Services, Guidance and Counseling, and/or Child Development and 1 year of child welfare caseworker experience.
Special Qualifications:
Must have already successfully completed the Colorado Pre-Service Training Academy program or, if hired, must successfully complete and pass all required State of Colorado training on order to be considered for future employment.
Preferred Education and Experience:
Three (3) years of child welfare social casework experience.
