Job Summary Student will assist with daily functions of the Office of Student Engagement on the Floyd campus to improve service to the students. Responsibilities Is responsible to understand, support, and carry out the college¿s mission, vision, and values and comply with mandates and regulations of government and accrediting bodies. Performs daily functions of the Student Engagement Office including answering phone, copying, faxing, and maintaining campus postings Assists with set-up and break down of campus events Posts event flyers Helps to maintain the Student Center Participates in mandatory training Performs other duties as assigned Required Qualifications • Must be currently enrolled at Georgia Highlands College • Must be Pell Grant eligible (FAFSA) • Must be making Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) • Must have an unmet need based on total cost of attendance of student Proposed Salary $12.00 per hour Optional Documents to Attach Resume Cover Letter Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Knowledge and ability to operate Microsoft office Understanding of customer service with some experience Ability to follow specific directions and instructions Ability to communicate effectively and appropriately Ability to work independently on a task and to utilize appropriate critical thinking, decision making and problem solving within area of responsibility.
