Our client is looking to hire a driven Financial Analyst to join their team. In this important position, you'll play a key role in shaping the financial future of the company by turning financial data into useful insights for decision-makers. Your main tasks will include analyzing market trends, making forecasts, and working with leadership to ensure the organization's financial well-being and success in the long term.
Responsibilities:
Develop and improve financial models using process analysis and industry benchmarking.
Analyze and report on the company's current financial health, including revenue, expenses, costing, and other key metrics, on a monthly or ad-hoc basis.
Play a vital role in developing the annual budget and creating accurate monthly forecasts.
Assist the executive team with long-term financial planning initiatives.
Prepare detailed cost projections to estimate future financial needs and identify areas for potential savings.
Examine and document the existing financial landscape, investigating historical data and budget vs actuals to uncover opportunities and potential risks.
Collaborate effectively with department personnel to gather information, clarify explanations, and present data-driven analyses and projections.
Advise and support cross-functional teams on financial matters related to their projects.
Run and prepare ad-hoc reports to provide timely financial insights to stakeholders.
Maintain strict confidentiality of all financial information.
Requirements:
A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (required).
7+ years of experience in financial analysis, financial reporting, financial planning, and financial modeling.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Prior experience in a manufacturing environment (a plus).
Excellent data analysis, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
A strong work ethic and a results-oriented mindset.
The ability to collaborate effectively with all levels of the organization.
Experience with data query tools like Oracle ERP R12, ESS Base, and Discoverer (a plus).
