Financial Analyst Senior
Support mission-critical initiatives and enable the growth of our business as a Financial Analyst Senior at GDIT. Working on the Finance team, you'll become an integral part of how GDIT is able to ensure the safety and security of our nation.

Our work depends on a Financial Analyst Senior joining our team to support New York State Department of Health Exchange program located at the Rensselaer Data Center in East Greenbush, NY. As a Senior Financial Analyst supporting the NYSoH program, you will be trusted to perform complex tasks in various financial functions with an emphasis is budgeting, auditing, forecasting, and analysis
HOW A FINANCIAL ANALYST SENIOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
? Performs financial analysis and reporting in order to monitor finances associated with business operations
? Creation of monthly and quarterly financial business review to provide insight into business
? Prepare monthly cost forecast, risk assessment and variance analysis for senior management.
? Prepare financial cost reports for monthly close and forecasting process
? Analyze both the monthly forecast and current quarter and future projections
? Develop long-range financial models in collaboration with the management team
? May have risk identification and recovery responsibilities
? Ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures, as well as other government regulations
? Maintain current knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, policies, and procedures
? Ensure readiness and generate response for audits
? Provide financial guidance to the business, helping drive profitable growth
? Manage procurement and cost submissions, ensuring accuracy and review of proper back up information
? Collaborate across organizations/functions including sales, operations, line of business and project management
? Monitor and assess financial impact changes of Indirect rates, rate pools, and allocations
? Provide guidance and leadership to less-experienced financial analysts
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
? Education: Bachelor's Degree in Finance or related business discipline, or 4+ additional years of experience in lieu of a degree
? Required Experience: 5+ years of related financial analysis experience
? Required Skills:
+ Proficient with MS Office Suite, specifically Excel (Pivot Tables, vlookups, etc)
+ Experience in Government Contracting
+ Experience with multiple contract types (Fixed Price, Fixed Unit Price, T&M and/or Cost Type Contracts)
+ Forecasting skills with the ability to understand the impact of business decisions on P&L
? Due to the nature of the work performed and the privileged user access for this position, U.S. Citizenship is required.
? Preferred Skills:

The likely salary range for this position is $76,500 - $103,500. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
