Financial Reporting Accountant (Remote)

A healthcare company in Florida is currently seeking a new Accountant for a promising Senior AND Remote opportunity with their Financial Reporting team.
In this role, the Senior Accountant (Remote) will be responsible for producing accurate and timely internal financial statements, accounting reports, and supporting schedules.

Responsibilities:
The Senior Accountant (Remote) - Financial Reporting will:
Prepare internal financial reports (Consolidated Trial Balance, Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss) with supporting schedules for management review Prepare and record journal entries, ensuring accurate account reconciliations Maintain and enhance financial systems and reporting mechanisms (including SAP, Excel, and Power BI) to optimize efficiency and data accuracy Participate in month end, quarter end and year end closings Collaborate effectively with team members across different departments and external stakeholders Adhere to internal controls and best practices, contributing to a strong control environment Compile and provide supporting documentation for internal and external audits Answer accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to enhance efficiency Build strong working relationships with corporate and segment teams Qualifications: 2+ years of related work experience Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, and/or other Business-related field Solid understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) Proficiency in Excel Strong analytical, reporting and review skills Desired Skills: Experience with Power BI
